The short version. FoodTruckFound texts you only for things you asked for: the code that signs you in, and links to manage your truck. Reply STOP to any message to end texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
FoodTruckFound ("we", "us") operates a live map of food trucks at foodtruckfound.com. We use text messages (SMS) as part of running that service. Messages come from the number (910) 777-7896.
Depending on how you use FoodTruckFound, you may receive:
You opt in by giving us your mobile number and using it with the service — entering it to sign in, asking us to text you a management link, or enabling alerts in your account. We do not buy phone numbers, and we do not text numbers that have not been given to us by their owner.
Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
Message frequency varies and depends on how you use the service. Most messages are sent in direct response to something you did, such as requesting a sign-in code. If you have enabled alerts for trucks you follow, you may receive additional messages when those trucks go live.
Message and data rates may apply. FoodTruckFound does not charge you for text messages, but your mobile carrier may charge you for sending or receiving them according to your plan. Check with your carrier if you are unsure.
Reply STOP to any message from us at any time. We will send one confirmation message and then stop texting that number.
Because we use text messages to confirm who you are, stopping messages means you will no longer be able to receive sign-in codes at that number, and you may not be able to sign in. If you change your mind, reply START to resume messages, or contact us.
Reply HELP to any message from us, or email [email protected] and a person will get back to you.
Supported carriers include AT&T, Verizon Wireless, T-Mobile, Sprint, Boost, U.S. Cellular, MetroPCS, Cricket, and other carriers in the United States and Canada. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed — messages may be delayed or fail for reasons outside our control, including your carrier's network, your device, or your service plan.
We currently support mobile numbers in the United States and Canada only.
We use your mobile number to run the service described above. We do not sell your phone number, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with the messaging provider that delivers our texts on our behalf, and where the law requires it.

We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
